Choice Care enters into a contract with a Business/Corporation to provide sick and emergency back-up childcare should the need arise. If a company employee has a sick child or emergency situation and their regular caregiver is unavailable – Choice Care is there to help. We send a professional nanny into the home of the employee to care for their children, making it possible for them to go to work. Their company pays for the majority of the childcare and the employee is responsible for paying a minimal co-payment, (usually around $2.00/hour).

Some companies have also added travel care to their list of benefits.

When caring for a sick child, constant monitoring of their health and well-being will be the focus throughout the day. All Choice Care nannies are required to keep track of what takes place while the parent(s) were gone. A written “daily report” will be left for the parent(s) to read when they come home. If a child’s fever reaches a 103 degrees or higher a parent will be requested to come home.

When providing emergency back-up child care, our nannies are there to help. We realize their regular caregiver is unavailable and we are new faces to your child(ren). Choice Care nannies will provide a loving and fun environment while you are gone.

You can take comfort in knowing all Choice Care nannies undergo one of the highest screening processes in the nation. Screening includes drug/TB tested, CPR training, fingerprinting, criminal background investigation and all are bonded and insured.

Choice Care is always available. Our office is open 8:00am – 5:00pm, Monday thru Friday. Choice Care knows that emergencies and sick children don’t always arise during work hours. During non-working hours our answering service will receive your calls and you will be contacted by a Choice Care staff member within minutes to fill your childcare needs.
